Join North Coast Land Conservancy and local ecologist Mike Patterson for an amphibian adventure along the forest trail at NCLC's Circle Creek property near Seaside. Fall is the best time of year to find elusive salamanders and other water-loving creatures of the forest. As Mike observes, young people who are closer to the ground seem to be better at spotting them! Parents, please acompany your children on this walk.
What to bring: Water and snacks. Wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy and dress for the day’s weather.
Walk Info: This fun family walk will follow an easy, mostly level trail on an old logging road. The surface can get muddy after rains, so do wear appropriate footwear. There will be access to restrooms at NCLC's office at Circle Creek.
This event is free, but registration is required.
