Participated in the pool tournament 1/19/11. I was glad to see the casino adding this to the venue. What would draw better and more serious players would be regulation tables with Simonez or an equivilant for the cloth. I have never payed for practice in the hour before the tournament and was surprised that I had to pay even during the tournament. I have never countered that in about 50 tournament appearances. I would certainly be enthused that the casino would endeavor into pool tournaments as Tulsa has Magoo's and the Q Spot with Sharkey's on Peoria a distant third. None would approach what Cherokee casino could do. Good, clean, open tournaments bring quality players. Quality players attract others.
