Become a volunteer and learn the history of the preserve, the trail system and information on desert flora, fauna and geology. The two-day course includes breakfast, lunch, and a T-shirt and badge upon completion. Courses are offered Nov. 1 and 8; and Dec. 6 and 13. E-mail info@mcdowellsonoran.org to register.
