Ballroom Basics (Merengue/NY Hustle)

We are often asked by new students: “Which group classes should I attend?” The answer is simple. THIS ONE. Ballroom Basics is designed to expose the new dancer to ten of the most popular social dances. Each class covers 2 dances per 90 min. session. Over the course of five weeks the basic fundamentals of all ten dances are shown. Timing, leading, following and some primary figures are explored. The cycle then repeats every five weeks. New dancers are encouraged to repeat the process to develop a level of proficiency and confidence before they immerse themselves into more advanced group class settings. Ballroom Basics class size is small allowing for more individual attention. Get started this coming Wednesday. While this class is great for couples looking for a new date night, NO partner is necessary.
