So its official, opening night for The Bone Chilling Experience @ J.J. Bonerz goes live, Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Even though its a "pay" production, I hope you'll all consider attending. With this month being what it is for the ghost tour business, I remain fairly caught up with its tide and so feel that for wanting to do something on a weekly basis, this event is something I can at least promise as an event right now early in the month! Appreciate your continual interest The storytelling production was written by Chris Soucy who has been a veteran of the stage here in Savannah for 20 years and many are especially familiar with him from years of being involved with the Shakespeare Festival as actor, director and more. I don't want to give too much away on The Bone Chilling Experience except to say that it marries Savannah fact, fiction, lore with terrible, classic ghost stories from everyone's childhood. The concept in part stems from the fact that with so many ghost tours in Savannah telling stories, and many of them, just covering the same objects, that our production will speak to the need for not only a great alternative, but will actually give the attendee an experience that resembles something of what they might actually feel if they were to be in a truly haunted environment. So not to totally blow the lid off of it, but it does involve a little F/X work courtesy of Chris Soucy's own design. It will take place in the windowless cellar of the J.J. Bonerz property and will last around 90 minutes. We will do a little meet and greet at 6pm and then get things started right around 6:30. Look forward to seeing many of you there!
