Musical Theater Summer Camp for Teens (Musical Theater Summer Camp for Teens)

This summer camp is designed to give each student the experience of the wonderful, magical world of Broadway Musical Theater. The program includes instruction in jazz, modern, ballet, hip hop, tap, singing, acting and costume design with teacher who are well known for their talent and expertise. There will be an emphasis on theatricality and storytelling through dance. Two of the essential elements that make the magic of Musical Theater possible are truth and story. Truth speaks to the human connection. Story speaks to the journey traveled. At Stage Dor's Musical Theater Summer Camp, students learn how to find the story and their own truth in dance, speech and song. They'll work with Broadway show tunes, the scenes that lead into them and loads of great choreography. The camp ends with a performance in Stage Dor's 100 seat theater on July 31.
