Friday March 19 Winter Park Art Festival Art and Winter Park Travel to the 47th Annual Winter Park Art Festival and enjoy over 275 artists from around the World selected from over 1400 applicants. Award $$$ exceed $59,000.00 Categories include Clay, Drawings & Graphics, Fiber & Leather, Glass, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Watercolor, & Wood. The Entertainment Stage at the Park has a slate of Live Music provided in conjunction with RadioÂÂ's WLOQ Smooth Jazz 103.1 and Orlando Leisure Magazine. Leave: Suntree the Centre at Suntree 8:45am Leave Satellite Beach Schector Center (corner Patrick and Jackson) 9am Leave Cocoa Beach Country Club at 9:30am Return around 6pm Price: $35 members $40 guests Those who wish to spend the entire time at the Park Avenue area Festival will be dropped off and have a full 5 hours there. Those who wish to take a sightseeing tour of Winter Park will still have 3 hours at the festival. The tour of Rollins College includes a look at the beautiful architecture of the Knowles Memorial Chapel and the Cornell art center. We also have a picture stop with a realistic bronze statue of Ben Franklin sitting on a bench near the Walk of Fame which features a collection of stones from the birthplaces of the famous some of whom have visited the campus. The Winter Park Village is a proto-type community mixing shops, boutiques, and cafes with urban style living. In other words you could live right above the cheesecake factory. Borders is located here. The Azalea Park looks directly over Lake Maitland in a serene and scenic setting near the beautiful Mansions that dot the landscape of Winter Park. Then you will return to the Art Festival with a greater understanding of why Winter Park and itÂÂ's festival have evolved into one of the premier communities and shows in the Country.
