Los Angeles Negotiations Skills October Meetup

Meeting agenda: 6:45 - 7:00 Arrive at the "Community Meeting Room" on the 2nd floor of the Santa Monica main library. 7:00 to 7:15 - Overview of course, ice breaker, and group introductions. 7:15 to 7:30 - Hand out negotiation exercise and discuss roles. The practice negotiation we will be using at the June 10 meetup simulates a negotiation between a new job recruiter and a job candidate at a company. 7:30 - 8:00 - We will split into pairs and practice negotiating using the roles and guidelines in the negotiation exercise. 8:00 - 8:10 Break 8:10 - 8:30 - Gather together as a group to discuss the negotiation results and ways to improve. 8:30 - 8:45 - Discuss preparations for the next meeting.
