G’DAY SANTA MONICA COLLEGE
AUSSIE FESTIVAL FEATURING ROADTRIP NATION
AND AMERICAN IDOL FINALIST MICHAEL JOHNS
WHAT: The free day-long event, featuring destination displays and a BBQ, provides students with an opportunity to learn more about living and working abroad in Australia.
American Idol finalist Michael Johns will be on-hand to discuss some of the benefits of Australia’s working holiday visa.

WHY: Marking its second consecutive year, the Aussie Festival featuring RoadTrip Nation is launching the “Work and Holiday Visa“ program, which provides American students the opportunity to live and work in Australia for 12 months.
RoadTrip Nation is a grassroots student movement with its own PBS series, which encourages youths to hit the road to discover their calling in life. A journey to Australia is promoted as the ultimate ‘gap year’ for American students to work, live, study and vacation. The iconic RoadTrip Nation green RV will include a plasma screen showing the recent PBS series filmed in Australia.
