The American Cinematheque and the Art Directors Guild (ADG) honor Academy Award winning Production Designer Gene Allen with a screening of director George Cukor’s Heller in Pink Tights (1960). The seventh film in the guild’s monthly series heralding the work of Art Directors Guild legends; Heller will be screened on Sunday, August 24 at 5:30 pm at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica. Designer Allen will be present for a Q&A following the screening, discussing both the film and his remarkable career.
