Daily, dawn to dusk. The route meanders by the Civic Center, the Lewellyn Justice Center (site of the much publicized Michael Jackson child molestation trial), the Santa Maria Valley Railway Historical Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Lawn Bowling Club, and Allan Hancock College's main campus. Almost all of the route is through Santa Maria's quiet, residential neighborhoods as it passes historic, quaint homes like those on Palm Court. An alternate trail (Riverwalk eligible), begins a short drive from the hotel going out and back on rural Bull Canyon Road and crossing the Santa Maria River in the process.
