Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day . After registering you'll take a short drive through neighborhoods with gorgeous adobe-style homes to the Dale Ball Trail parking lot. On the Dale Ball Trail you will walk through the foothills of the Sangre de Christo Mountains on pedestrian and bike trails meandering through pinon pine and juniper trees. You'll have some incredible views of the Santa Fe area and enjoy the fresh mountain smell. This trail is rated 3+ due to rolling hills at about 7500 feet elevation.
