J.D. Souther is a country rock singer-songwriter and actor, as well as a multi instrumentalist. He is well known as a performer and writer of hit songs for other artists, most famously the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt. Souther is due to release his first new album in 24 years on October 14 titled `If The World Was You` The album was recorded live in the studio with a five-piece jazz ensemble.
