      Brujo Trio Acoustic Concert

In a special late afternoon concert for Spanish Market visitors, award winning musician D’Santiago Nava and his Brujo Trio will be sharing acoustic Nuevo Flamenco music in an informal and donation based performance. Songs shared will be from D'Santiago Nava's 2nd CD. Vocalist Kiesha Cotton joins the Trio on selected songs highlighting the remarkable acoustic sounds within the chapel.

San Miguel Chapel is known as “The Oldest Church” in the continental United States. It is the key site to the Barrio de Analco Historic District founded by a group of Mexican Indians from Tlaxcala. The adobe church was constructed under the direction of Franciscan friars to serve a small congregation of soldiers, laborers, and Indians. It was partially destroyed during the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. The present building dates from 1710, although it has undergone significant structural changes.
