Description
What to bring: water, lunch, snacks, tick repellent, sunglasses/sunscreen/hat, waterproof jacket and hat if rain threatens. Please read the FAQ. This is an 'at risk' activity. By joining us on this hike you agree to hold the organizers, assistant organizers, and other members harmless. You are responsible for your own safety on the hike. We will hike 4-6 miles, up to 1200 feet elevation. We will probably hike to Sempervirens Falls, go up Slippery Rock and then return to Park HQ via the Skylike to the Sea Trail. http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/f/5/6/event_7468502.jpeg Most of the trails are shaded. Some rock scrambling. This is not a hike for beginners. We will carpool from Felton Faire Shopping Center (Safeway) about 30 minutes to park headquarters. Please bring $1 gas money for your carpool driver and $2 for your share of the $7 parking fee. After the hike we will optionally meet for coffee/beer/food nearby.
