Aida: Metropolitan Opera Encore

NCM Fathom presents an encore presentation of VerdiÂÂ's Aida in select theatres nationwide. The encore presentation (captured live on October 24, 2009) will be shown for one evening only on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 6:30 PM in all time zones. Set in ancient Egypt, Aida is both a heartbreaking love story and an epic drama full of spectacular crowd scenes. A cast of powerful voices and a grand production bring the story to life on the Met stage and on the HD screen. Among the scoreÂÂ's highlights is the celebrated Triumphal March. See it on the big screen, with subtitles in English and interviews with the performers as they exit the stage at intermission. Two 20-minute breaks means there is time for an evening snack if you haven't eaten beforehand.
