SCU EXEC DEV: Putting Humpty Dumpty Back Together Again at Santa Clara University
"New Normal" Organization
Difficult economic times have constricted most businesses. Many
organizations have already cut costs and staff significantly. Now
what? Are we going to continue waiting for it to get better? No,
it is time to stop playing the waiting game, recognize that there
is a new world order, and run the business using the new scenario.
This program will provide concepts and tools to help you evaluate
the work/projects/processes you currently do and determine which
ones to keep, suspend or eliminate. Then once you establish
priorities, the program will recommend methods to streamline your
work so you have time for new opportunities.
In this program you will learn:
- Techniques to prioritize your core work processes
- Where and how to start streamlining operations
- A resourcing method that can get you results quickly
Who should attend:
- Managers and professionals who want to change the way they work
and what they work on
- Senior managers who want to refocus their organizations on what
is important now
- Recommendation (not required): attend with a colleague in your
area. This program will include several application exercises.
You will benefit more with "two heads" during the program and
it's much easier to apply your learning when two of you go back
to your organization.
