Motivating & Supporting Fundraising Volunteers

This hands-on workshop will provide advice, guidance and practical tools for engaging volunteers in major gifts fundraising. Topics covered will include the role of development staff in supporting fundraising volunteers; information, education and training resources for those volunteers and ideas for encouraging, motivating and celebrating volunteer successes in fundraising.

Presenter Melissa Irish is a seasoned fundraising professional with 12 years experience raising private sector funds for Bay Area nonprofits. She has held senior fundraising positions with Jewish Vocational Services, Environmental Traveling Companions and Industrialization Centers West.
