07/11 Hike Angel Island & stay for a picnic lunch

Saturday Hike on Angel Island with a Picnic Lunch to follow. Let's get to Angel Island and hike the trails. There are guided tours, but I thought that we could grab the map (which I've already printed) and hike the island. Like China Camp, I've never been on Angel Island and I just love an adventure. Looking at the web-site, it seems harmless! LOL We can sooo do this...piece of cake! So, let's meet in Tiburon for the first Ferry over. FERRY LEAVES AT 10:00 AM, so be sure to get there in plenty of time to purchase your ticket. Round Trip Ferry cost from Tiburon is $13.50. NO credit cards, just cash or checks. Bring a picnic lunch for yourself and plenty of water we are going on an adventure. For those who need to stay on track ...It looks like there is a 5.2 mile loop that we can do...says difficulty - 3? Whatever that means?? I say pack a lunch and let's go to Angel Island...DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA'S.
