Description
Among our students at SJSU, we have a diversity of student profiles, learning styles, physical and sensory abilities. As educators, we need to meet the challenges of providing equity, flexibility, and accessibility for our diverse student body. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles provide solutions for these challenges. UDL is an instructional strategy that provides multiple ways for students to access as well as to express their learning.

In this one day workshop participants will understand and apply the UDL principles with the focus on the framework of their course - the syllabus (greensheet). In addition, "hands-on" sessions will include how to design UDL components for your course and to use the accessible syllabus template to format your syllabus documents.

A San Jos? State University Gold Points card of $50 will be offered to the first 20 faculty who register, attend the entire day and submit a complete a statement of how the UDL principles learned during these sessions will be implemented in their courses.

Participation is limited. Register now to reserve your seat at cfd@sjsu.edu or call 408-924-2303.
