The Donnas
The Donnas are an American all-female hard rock band from Palo Alto, California.[1] They draw inspiration from The Ramones, AC/DC, and Kiss.[1][2] Rolling Stone has stated that "the Donnas offer a guileless take on adolescent alienation; they traffic in kicks, not catharsis, fun rather than rage".[1] MTV has stated that the band offers "nothing more than a good old-fashioned rock & roll party". A POWER trio from San Jose, CA. Playing mostly hard rock with a psychedelic blues flavor. All 3 members are seasoned San Jose musicians who have been in various projects ranging from punk to jazz. Matt Tognetti (Bodies in the Basement) attacks the vocals while holding down the bottom end. Anthony Scott (Operator Generator) drives the runaway freight train pounding out the path that Steve McAulay (Woodshed) quickly covers up with his twisted melodic guitar style.
