Slim’s San Francisco is a live music nightclub located in the city's South of Market (or SOMA) district. Slim’s San Francisco was opened in 1988 by Boz Scagges, a legendary R&B artist.
Since then, Slim’s San Francisco has earned great national acclaim. Recipient of Pollstar Magazine's "Best Nightclub" five years out of 11, Slim's San Francisco has also been recognized on a local level, winning the San Francisco Chronicle readers' award for "Best Bar & Club" each year for the past two years.
From Blues to Alternative, Slim’s San Francisco welcomes a wide range of acts from a wide variety of countries. George Clinton, the Saw Doctors, Bowling for Soup, Copeland and Ozma are just a few of those featured on the Slim's calendar in the past.
