What are the odds that two individuals making music and money can even the playing field in the off-balance music industry? The answer is all in the name of San Francisco based rap group, EVENODDS. Hailing from Fillmore and Geneva Tower Projects, M-A (Money Alwayz) and D.E.O. (Doing Everything Official) formed a friendship early through music in middle school. With a mutual ambition for producing, writing, and engineering, EVENODDS combined complementary opposites into one group. Keeping their music strictly street and in raw form, EVENODDS is described by fans and peers as “reality rap.” Working with artist like Damian Marley, Freeway, Glasses Malone, Big Rich, The Jacka, San Quinn and R.O.D. established EVENODDS as a hard-hitting dynamic duo. M-A and D.E.O credit their distinct sound to each other, street life, and the Bay Area’s cultural influence. While working on their official LP: The Revision, scheduled to drop in 2010, EVENODDS granted fans access to their street album Grind House for free via the worldwide web. As CEOs/Owners of Official Bizness Entertainment, EVENODDS wrote, recorded, and mastered Respect the Hustle Vol. 1,2, and 3. The success from those albums enabled the group to introduce the video for “Get Money All Day,” receiving over 4 million on WorldStarHipHop.com. “One of the best west coast videos of 2009,” said Tuma Basa, Program Director of MTV Jams.
