Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Info Session at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week program that introduces you to mindfulness practice in the form of sitting meditation, body awareness and mindful movement, modeled by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD.
The MBSR program at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine includes a free information session and 30-minute private interview with the instructor before the first class. Attending an informational session is strongly encouraged. Each class also includes one all day session on a Saturday or Sunday.
Note: Continuing Medical Education credits are available for this course. Total in-class time is 28 hours over 8 weeks.
Classes often fill to capacity. Advance registration is highly encouraged.
