Holiday Tea at the Old Mint at Old Mint Building

The Old Mint Building, a historical national landmark rarely open to the public, will be opening its doors for an elegant afternoon of holiday tea to kick off this holiday season. Once a home for one-third of the nation’s gold reserves, the Old Mint’s gilded rose colored counting rooms will transform into an elegant winter wonderland for this new tradition.
Ideally situated just steps from Union Square and Westfield shopping center, guests can steal away from the busy city life for an afternoon of decadence with friends and family, or kick off the holiday season with colleagues or clients. Accompanied by sparkling lights and garlands of greenery, the High Tea experience will feature a feast of delectable finger foods paired with tea, coffee, and traditional high tea fare. Please RSVP your tea time at rsvp@sfhistory.org or by calling (415)537-1105 x100.

Price: $75 per person for SFMHS members, $85 per person for non-members, $45 for children 12 and under.
