Lost Art Salon (San Francisco)

Lost Art Salon is a resource for Modern Era art and objects (1900-1960s). This extensive collection of original paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and glass includes works by listed, lesser-known and unknown artists. Through private collections and estates, auctions, art dealers, flea markets and antique fairs, Rob Delamater and Gaétan Caron search out one-of-a-kind pieces that exhibit distinctive styles and movements (i.e. Modernism, Art Deco, Arts & Crafts, Post-Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism, Cubism). One of our specialties is discovering portfolios of “lost artists” and creating shows that celebrate their compelling stories. We personally research, clean, at times restore, and set each piece into a carefully selected era-appropriate frame using archival materials. This approach to building The Lost Art Collection allows for a range of affordable prices.
