Artspace (San Francisco)

Arspace is the combined effort of two SF artists who consider themselves to be Self Taught Gallery Operators. Arspace started as a space where the creation of art, the exhibition of art, bbq's, beer drinking, conversation, and music meshed together in a Folsom street garage with the door wide open for all to experience. In early 2005, they began to expand upon their garage days by inviting other artists into bigger and more structured events within the whole building at 1286 folsom. At present, they are maintaining the organic process that runs their lives inside and outside of the art world by moving forward with a sense of faith that the honesty of their actions will lead to a good place.
