This program of short films offers a rare opportunity to view experimental Japanese films and videos created since 1960. Presented in conjunction with The Provoke Era: Postwar Japanese Photography, the films show the complicated atmosphere and dramatic sociocultural transformations that resulted from Japan's defeat in World War II and the aftermath of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
