Description
The San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery is proud to present ON YOUR MARK, featuring prominent Bay Area artist Leslie Shows. This intimate event will kick off with hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks at Electric Works, a gallery, printmaking studio and renowned print publisher. Following an informal dialogue with Shows about her practice and recent achievements, the artist will conduct printmaking demonstrations that will yield a limited number of works for sale during the event.
ON YOUR MARK: Leslie Shows is the second installment in a series of social and educational events with three goals in mind: to highlight the artistic talents of a deserving Bay Area artist, to provide that artist with an opportunity to realize a unique printmaking project, and to give art enthusiasts insider access to the creative process. The first ON YOUR MARK in 2008 featured Ala Ebtekar.
