The National Book Critics Circle (NBCC) is hosting a series of panel discussions, all free and open to the public, from January 10-12. NBCC LitPanel #1 is Thursday January 10th at 6pm at Book Passage in the Ferry Building. The topic is “Book Culture: The Future is Global.” NBCC President John Freeman moderates a panel of writers who also edit, teach, and travel, on how the cultural convergences of the Bay Area help shape today’s literary culture. Panelists include Fiction writer Daniel Alacon, novelist Micheline Ahonian Marcom and novelist Amy Tan.
