In June of 2008, longtime friends and band-mates Tyler Halloran, Mike Carlito and Luke Hunter had a sound brewing in their heads, and a man in mind who could undoubtedly help bring it to life: Kameren Neal. Having been a lifelong performer, Kameren had no hesitation in joining his friends as the vocalist of what would become Kounterfeit Change. The band was near completion, but in-need of another element added to the mix. That element (lying passed out on the floor of a hotel room in D.C.) was John Vardanian, good friend and a music producer working with Kameren.
