KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) of Your Dreams

You've read the reviews on Chowhound and now it's time to experience the Korean fried chicken at China Village. The owner, Mr. Yao, marinates a whole organic chicken, deep fries it, and then serves it with a side of spicy salt with Sichuan peppercorns. Divine! If we are really lucky, we may be able to special order some Korean wings with spicy garlic sauce. PLEASE NOTE: we will be eating this meal family style and splitting the bill evenly amongst the guests. If you have severe food restrictions (although I have to say if you are a vegetarian or vegan I don't know why you are in this group) and/or allergies, are a fussy eater, or just want to do your own thing, this is not the event for you. COST: depending on how many people attend, we'll order either one or two chickens ($25 per chicken). We'll probably order other items from the menu so the cost per person will probably be in the $15-$30 range. LOCATION: about 7-8 blocks south of the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station. Questions?
