Opening Reception: Friday March 27, 5:30-7:30
Steven Wolf Fine Arts invites all Bay Area twins to come for the opening of Kent and Kevin Young's new exhibition of collages, DNA Breaks Jury Deadlock. In addition to surveying the new work they can test the power of their own special connection by playing Kreskin's ESP game with the twins.
In the past, identical twins Kent and Kevin Young have explored the interior side of their special connection through performances and video. In their new show at Steven Wolf Fine Arts they journey through the external world in search of clues to the meaning of their identity. In a compelling series of collages that document our culture's fear, curiosity and fascination with identical twins, Kent and Kevin try to come to grips who they are and what it means to be alone and to share a consciousness.
