Formed in 1997, Dir en grey steadily climb to prominence within the Japanese music scene. Having released four successful albums and toured in Europe and Asia, Dir en grey has now set their sights on America. Their fifth album, Withering to death., hit music store on May 16th, 2006 and is being released by WARCON Enterprises LLC.. The U.S. release of the album will also contain a bonus DVD. Dir en grey is comprised of five members, with vocalist Kyo, guitarists Kaoru and Die, bassist Toshiya and drummer Shinya. The five members have remained the same since the band's formation in 1997.
