Description
This course will introduce students the concepts and techniques of book-making as an art practice. We will cover editing and sequencing, both with a hands-on and a digital approach, file preparation, pre-flighting, sizing, color correction, layout techniques, and several basic hand-bound book techniques. Each student will create work for and design a book, which will be printed and bound using one of several online options that students will be introduced to. Students Bring: BRING 25 unprocessed digital images (raw or jpeg) (includes access pass for digital departmentâ"does not include Imacon scanner).
