Description
Let's meetup for coffee or a bite at Pres A Vi at 12pm, and then we'll go do some sightseeting. It's at Chestnut & Lyon, just inside the Presidio (where Chestnut is a pedestrian street). Directions to Pres A Vi are here: http://web.mac.com/presavi/Pres_a_Vi/Directions.html For the MUNI folks, the 45 Union is a block away, also the 43, 28, and 30. And then at 1pm we will go a few blocks up the hill to take in some amazing views of the bay and the Marina, from the Lyon St steps - a beautifully manicured set of steps that only the locals know about. Here are some photos. Or, we can go a few blocks in the other direction and admire the Palace of Fine Arts. Or both! Since there a lot of people RSVPd, please only come if you have not come to an event with this group before
