Boomercize® Meetup

Welcome to Boomercize! - The FUN way to get fit! Boomercize classes have been happening for a while...but we're new to Meetup...so here's what it's all about... We meet once a week to dance to the great hits of the 60s (Motown, Beach Boys, Four Seasons, Beatles, etc)...and do the popular dances of that era - The Twist, The Pony, The Swim Cha-Cha, etc. We're getting a great, low-impact cardio workout - but I guarantee it's a LOT more fun than the treadmill! If you're like me, and don't like the pounding music at most aerobics classes...Boomercize is the answer... it's a completely RAP-FREE environment! It's also "attitude - free" - we're there to exercise and have fun, not compete with each other. No prior dance experience is necessary. The steps are easy to follow. Boomercize is a great option for adults in their 50s and 60s - but ALL ages are welcome. Classes are one hour long. Please arrive a few minutes early to register. Wear sneakers or other soft-soled shoes. Your first class is FREE. No obligation to sign up. Discount class cards available ($10 per class).
