THIS IS A TEST MEETING - There is no real meeting on this date At the referral group meetings we meet representatives from other businesses and build relationships over lunch. After lunch there is a short business related presentation made by one of the members. The focus of these presentations is on how to improve your business. Obviously some plugs for the presenter's business are dropped in here and there, but the focus is on you and your business. Each representative is then encouraged to give a two minute description of their business and share what would be a great referral for them. We share business cards/literature and adjourn to the most important part of the meeting - the meeting-after-the-meeting where you focus on building relationships with those who are most interesting to you and your business. This tried-and-true format allows you to build your referrals with a minimum of expense. Come and try it - you will like it.
