Eastern Point Walking Tour at Heritage Museums & Gardens

Beauport, Sleeper-McCann House, 75 Eastern Point Blvd., Gloucester, Mass.
$35 for walking tour, house tour and reception (SOLD OUT), $20 for house tour and reception. Historic New England and History Project members only.
Enjoy this rarely offered walking tour of the Eastern Point neighborhood surrounding Beauport led by architectural historian and Beauport scholar Phillip Hayden. Eastern Point became a summer playground for Boston’s elite, specifically Henry Davis Sleeper and his social circle, at the beginning of the twentieth century. Learn about this neighborhood’s rich history and the Dabsville community while enjoying breathtaking views of the harbor. The walking tour follows an abridged tour of Beauport and informal reception.
