Winston's

Located near the corner of Newport Avenue and Bacon Street, Winston's is one of the most popular clubs in Ocean Beach. In addition to great drink and happy hour specials every day of the week, Winston's has an excellent schedule of live music and stand-up comedy every week. The club's location just a couple of blocks away from the beach, combined with its laid back atmosphere, provides one of the most comfortable environments for live music in town. There are unique events and performances at Winston's all of the time, making any night a good night to visit Winston's.

For 25 years Winston's has featured live music from a variety of genres, ranging from rock to world beat and has scheduled bands like The Skatalites, Steel Pulse, Slightly Stoopid, and Los Lonely Boys. The club also features the Electric Waste Band, a Grateful Dead cover band that has played every Monday night for the past fifteen years. Thursday nights are for showcasing the hottest local bands and Winston's features the best stand-up comedians San Diego has to offer on Fridays.
