Librarian and debut author Eleanor Kuhns won the MWA/Minotaur Books First Novel Award. A Simple Murder involves a former Revolutionary War soldier who, while looking for his runaway stepson, is recruited by a New England Shaker community to investigate the murder of one of their members. The book has received accolades from Publishers Weekly, the New York Times Book Review, and more!
