Beyond Reasonable Drought: Water and Culture in a Changing Climate

Exhibition explores the long-term interaction of culture and climate, focusing on human adaptation and water from prehistoric to present times. The Museum's collections will demonstrate the importance of water in the Southwest, the effects of changing ocean temperatures among the Chumash of the Channel Islands, and local water shortages and adaptive responses of indigenous San Diegans.
