House Of Blues - San Diego
The House of Blues San Diego is one of 13 live music venues part of the House of Blues franchise. The brand was originally founded by Isaac Tigrett and Dan Aykroyd. In July of 2006, the House of Blues San Diego and its other sister facilities were acquired by Live Nation.San Diego’s House of Blues first opened in 2005. The venue offers several smaller rooms (aside from the main floor) where artists can perform for a smaller crowd, creating a more intimate setting. In addition, the House of Blues San Diego features an entire wall covered in New Orleans’ Mardi Gras beads. This signature piece is called the Bead Wall. Like the other House of Blues venues, the House of Blues San Diego has stuck to its roots by displaying the “Crazy Quilt” and keeping a box of Delta Mississippi mud underneath its stage.
