Sundays and Mondays, Thrusters' format takes a 180-degree turn from techno, with Jazz Without a Net (performing Sundays) and Renata (playing guitar on Mondays). Wednesdays through Saturdays, pop some change in the well-stocked jukebox. What you see is what you get when you enter Thrusters: a narrow, short, surf-themed room with a bar that stretches the length of it. Mirrors on the walls take away some of the claustrophobia. Unfortunately for those who start to feel the dancing urge, Thrusters has a laughably small dancefloor, but that doesn't stop the one or two people who can fit on it.
