The San Diego Entrepreneur November Meetup

The 2nd Monday of each month is our SPEED NETWORKING night. Hooray! This is a joint meetup of the San Diego Entrepreneur Meetup Group, San Diego Small Business Meetup Group and San Diego Network Marketing Meetup Group - where we all get together to learn a little something from each other, discuss business, and find out more about what everyone does... all in about 100 minutes. The event runs from 7:00pm (sharp!) through 8:40pm. Expected attendance is 25-55 business people. Since August of 2008, attendance each month has generally been 40+ participants. Please attend only if you can stay for the entire time - as people departing early throw off our seating arrangements. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. PLEASE NOTE: Since I overbook RSVPs to ensure a full event, YOUR ENTRY TO THE EVENT IS ONLY GUARANTEED IF YOU RSVP "YES" AND ARRIVE BY THE 7:00pm START TIME. If you arrive at 7:01pm or later, I will be unable to guarantee you entry to the event, even if you RSVP'd "YES". Again, your cooperation and understanding is appreciated. Our present venue is the Best Western Seven Seas Hotel on Hotel Circle in Mission Valley. We will be using the Lord Jim Room, having much greater capacity for participants than our past venues. Water will be provided. Arrive early if you wish to take advantage of Happy Hour at Zack's Bar, located adjacent to the Lord Jim Room. Happy Hour is from 4p-7p, and Zack has discounted draft beer, house wine and well drinks up until 7p. Food is available in the Cafe. The (required) meeting fee for the evening is $5 for participants. Please pay at the registration table when you arrive. This helps defray the cost of the room rental for the event. The format for speed networking is this: 4 minute meetings 1-2-1 (one-to-one) with other event attendees. You will meet face-to-face with 12 to 16 of the other attendees during the evening (the # depends entirely on event attendance and attendee cooperation in moving station-to-station). Make sure you bring enough business cards to pass out, and have prepared a concise and informative introduction for yourself that takes a minute or less.
