Selena was born on July 22, 1992. She got her big break in acting in 2002 on the show "Barney & Friends" as Gianna. Being in past episodes of Barney when she was younger, Selena Gomez has been filming as lead character Stevie in Stevie Sanchez, in which is a spinoff of popular series Lizzie McGuire. This is her pilot as a lead character in any show. Like Lizzie, she'll also have her own mini alter-ego.
