Project Resources:

At this orientation, youll learn about Volunteer San Diego, the Flexible Volunteer Program, and the unique experience that awaits you as a Flex Volunteer. Youll also be able to meet other volunteers, get all your questions answered, and learn how to use our website.

Through Flex, youll volunteer once a week, once a month, or just once in a while. Whether your interests are in tutoring children, feeding the homeless, spending time with seniors, preserving the environment, or so much more, theres bound to be a Flex project right for you

Flex orientations take place at several locations around the county each month:

Mission Valley (1st and 2nd Tuesdays)
Downtown (1st Thursday)
Chula Vista (4th Tuesday)

Other options...There are also several Jumpstart Flex Orientations each month. At the Jumpstart Orientations you have the opportunity to complete your orientation and volunteer at your first Flex project all at once Or take our new Online Orientation. View the presentation at your own speed and then sign up for a volunteer project.

Orientations are for volunteers who are at least 14 years old. Please sign up for the orientation most convenient for you. Please note that if you are under 18 you will not be able to sign up for an orientation online until you have submitted a signed waiver. If you would like to sign up for the orientation before submitting the waiver please e-mail flex@volunteersandiego.org.
