Point Loma- Baby Sign Language Storytime Meetup (1st Seating)

This is more than a storytime! Best-selling author, Monta Briant uses songs, stories and engaging toys and props. to teach sign language as an early communication tool for babies and toddlers. Even if you have tried storytime with your child before without success, come check this one out-- your baby will love it! This has to be the most popular library in town to take babies and young children, and we have a wonderful group of moms and babies who attend! The Children's Area has a giant pirate ship, that kids can play inside of and even a working ship's wheel for them to "steer"! There is even a real submarine parascope in the library, that looks outside! We always have 2 consecutive performances here. The first one is very busy and super high-energy with so many kids. If you would rather have a quieter event, come to the 2nd seating if baby's naptime allows. Don't be put off if you don't see a lot of RSVP's-- we have a ton of regulars here and many don't bother to RSVP on Meetup or heard about the group through other channels.
