"Rock Concert Pianist" Scott D. Davis performs the music of Metallica and others. The event is part of a nationwide tour to support Davis' latest CD release Pianotarium: Piano Tribute to Metallica. The album underscores the direction he's been taking his concert piano for the last two years. A metalhead to the core, but also with an appreciation for classical music, his CDs and performances reveal the complexity and intense beauty that fans of metal have always known and loved, in a light that can be appreciated by hard-rock fans and those (who until now) hear heavy-metal music as little more than noise and anger.
