Mikey Beats is a second generation San Diego native. Raised between the beautiful hills of Bay Park and the surf culture driven town of Pacific Beach, Mikey Quickly found his niche in music and continues down that path to this day. His musical journey started at San Diego’s legendary all age venue Soma, where when Beats was 16 the owner Len Paul helped him stay out of trouble by giving him a job and insisting that he played music. Len decided to teach him everything he needed to know about music bands and the constantly evolving music industry.
